Navigating Your Financial Life Through Effective Tax Strategies

Financial Literacy Resources

| August 28, 2020

Many of you who follow me and my work know how passionate I am about enhancing financial literacy - especially for women.

I go about this in my tax compliance and financial advisory practice and through my divorce financial analysis services. In addition, I provide pro bono basic financial planning to young women and their families via the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and the NY Public Library.

Another way is by sharing various resources:

  • Either those at my website - Click link here to read the article, "The Financial Literacy Crisis" and for other articles in the Lifestyle section click here.
  • Or those at other websites, such as Annuity.org where some very informative articles recently brought to my attention can be found.

Generally speaking, women earn less, save less, and live longer — but are still responsible for the same living expenses men pay. Plus, since they live longer, they face additional costs, including more overall health care expenses. Overcoming these obstacles demands serious dedication to planning.

So, please consider spending some time at the Annuity.org site where you can read articles on such women-related topics as gender and the wage gap, homeownership, divorce realities, and retirement planning priorities. I think you will be glad you did!
